A ' Buddhist Emblems' Bowl, six character Jiaqing seal mark in underglaze blue and of the period, finely enamelled in 'famille rose' on the exterior with four groups each depicting two emblems among scrollwork, between an iron red kui dragon scroll around the rim, and a lappet border above the foot. A comparable Daoguang mark and period bowl in the Qing Court collection, enamelled with the 'eight precious things' between gilt borders, illustrated on page 232 as catalogue no.207 in 'The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum',vol.39, Hong Kong 1999. A Qianlong mark and period bowl of the same pattern as the present lot was sold at Christie's Hong Kong, as lot 3543, 1 June 2011, and a Tongzhi mark and period bowl of the same pattern was sold in the same rooms as lot 363, 8 October 2020.
