Sir Alfred Gilbert (1854-1934) bronze medallion for the Art Union of London commemorating Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee, date 1887. Obverse depicting a crowned bust of Queen Victoria, reverse depicting a sailing ship, cherub at prow and angel standing to the stern. Housed in a John Pinches Medallist of London case. 6.3 cm diameter.
