Star Lot: 'Lucina Lennon' A wonderful original 'Lucina Lennon' watercolour and pencil on paper painting. Features an architectural study of an Interior space. Rendered in loose brushstrokes in a wet on wet technique. Portrays a soft colour palette with yellows, blues and greens. The work characterises delicate and detailed pencil drawings. Signed and dated 2006 lower right. Housed in a gilt frame behind glass.

Lucina Lennon is an Interior architect. She incorporated techniques such as marbling craquelure and gilding when she returned home to Ireland, whilst renovating the interiors of period properties.
She specialises in the traditional technique of Verre Églomisé - the decorative technique of water gilding on glass to create sumptuous mirrored surfaces on bespoke wall panels and ‘one-of-a-kind’ statement pieces of furniture.
