** BRISTOL (STAPLETON) - LETTER EX FRANCE TO P.O.W. BUT PROBABLY HELD IN PARIS P.O.'s "CABINET NOIR"; 14 June 1807 EL (sealed with wafer; family news etc from the addressee's father) from "Mont d'Origny" to; "M Remy David, Soldat Prisonnier detenu dans la Prison de Guerre de Stapleton pres Bristol" with partly fine red "P.2.P/ORIGNY" on the front and without Paris marks but with "15 Centimes" on reverse beside red Origny "P. [With Roumet 2018 Certificate of genuineness.] [Not recorded in MFPWE.]Cross Reference: MILITARY - P.O.W. MAIL, FRANCE, BRISTOL
