A large Mason's Patent Ironstone twin-handled pot pourri bowl and cover, c.1820, squat circular form with flared neck collar and gilded handles, Imari pattern, decorated with panels of birds, scales and mon, to a dark blue ground with gilt scrolling foliage, the pierced top cover with flower bud finial, over a solid under-cover. 23cm high, 37.5cm across handles
Very Good: Overall in very good condition but possibly some part or all of the lot has slight wear/damage/fading inline with the age of this lot. Superficial firing fault just beneath collar to one side. Gilding rubbed in places. Light surface scratches to decoration.
