A Grande Sonnerie gilt brass carriage clock with push button repeat, early 20th century, no. 422, in gilt Anglaise Corinthian column case, the recessed base fitted with a selection lever, with white Roman enamel dial with blued steel spade hands, the eight day two train movement ting-tang striking the quarters on a graduated pair of gongs and sounding the hour every quarter hour on the larger, with silvered platform escapement, 6¼in. (15.8cm.) high excluding handle, in the original red morocco leather travelling case with key.

*Runs and strikes correctly. Very minor light spotting to gilt to top of case and one side of handle. Otherwise very good overall. Morocco case has some wear throughout and the handle has broken.
