STAMPLESS COVER EX G.B. WITH B.R.E. ANNOTATION "OVS/KUCHING" & ADDRESS PARTLY ERASED BY CENSOR; 13 Aug. 1942 env. (opened out for display) endorsed "POW Post" with fine Altrincham/Cheshire machine and British censor label, addressed to Tokyo but with the addressee's unit in the address (contrary to regulations) which has been crossed through, and having Bureau of Report & Enquiry (BRE) pencil annotation "OVS [=overseas]/9/10/42/KUCHING" on the front showing that the right Camp was identified in transit; also with fine purple boxed Japanese "Borneo P.O.W.
