A VICTORIAN TOWER ISSUED 1856 PATTERN PISTOL DATED 1857. With a 25 cm (ten inch) tapering barrel with blade sight, worn riffling, approximately 15.4 mm at the muzzle. With swiveling rammer below and various issue and inspection marks. With a percussion firing action, the side plate engraved with a Crown over a VR monogram, and '1857 Tower', with brass trigger guard and butt plate with fixed ring for attachment. 40 cm overall.

Some cracks to wood below the barrel and repair to handle. Light rust throughout. Action fires on half-cock.
