An 18th-century pine longcase clock, circa 1735, with striking movement and single hand, the square face dial signed John Worsfold, Dorking. Pendulum and weights present. 190cm high.

Footnote: Clockmaker John Worsfold died 15th November 1768, and his will is held in the National Archives.

Two holes have been created either side of the case to allow the pendulum to escape and swing.
