A brass barrelled and brass framed flintlock boxlock blunderbuss pocket pistol with spring bayonet, by Williams, Chatham, c 1800, 7” overall, bell mouth barrel 2½” the octagonal breech with early B’ham proofs, and with 2½” spring bayonet beneath released by sliding trigger guard; the frame engraved with trophies of flags and signed in oval panels; with top thumb safety and walnut slab butt with oval silver escutcheon.
