A scarce 1940s Lionel tinplate model of the Japanese Type 88mm Flak Anti-Aircraft Gun as used in World War Two. With 2x removable two wheeled transportation bogies and cruciform outriggers for firing. Barrel has traverse and elevation controls and firing mechanism. Rubber tyres have LINEOL cast into them. Finished in camouflage green and sand pattern. Dimensions: barrel approx 230mm, overall length approx 400mm. Together with 4x WWII German soldiers; 3x Elastolin and one by Lineol, plus an ammunition supply by Elastolin.
