Henry VII (1485-1509) silver Groat, facing bust issue, class IIIb, pansy mintmark (S 2198A, North 1705). Obverse: crowned bust with realistic hair and double-arched jewelled crown within a tressure of arcs, pansy mintmark, legend with rossette stops, 'HENRIC x DI x GRA x REX x ANGL x Z x FRANC' around. Reverse: long cross with three pellets in each of the central angles, 'CIVITAS x LONDON x' in the middle ring and 'POSVI DEV x ADIVTOR' x MEV x' around the edge with a pansy mintmark and saltire stops. Weight: 2.98g. Diameter: 24mm. Grade: aF - slightly irregular flan, around Fine.
