A Charles II silver tumbler cup of typical raised planished form bearing the coat of arms for Rise of Trewardreva, in Constantine, Cornwall, Francis Singleton, London, 1678, the makers mark struck twice showing both variants, 6cm high, 165g

The makers mark first registered in 1676. See Jackson’s Silver and Gold Marks page 134

Thomas, son of Roger Rise built the extant house in c.1600 and the estate left the family some time prior to 1719 when the inheritors remodelled the house.
Somehow, the family escaped being recorded in the Heralds' Visitations of Cornwall.
