1832 Joshua Scholefield Birmingham Reform Act MP silver medal graded MS 62 by NGC (Eimer 1259, BHM 1577). Obverse: left-facing portrait bust, 'JOSHUA SCHOLEFIELD. M.P.' around with 'BORN MAY 23 1775' below. Reverse: mercury holding the Union flag with inscription below that reads 'THE ENLIGHTENED ADVOCATE OF PARLIAMENTARY REFORM, THE ARDENT FRIEND OF COMMERCIAL, CIVIL & RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, THE CHOICE OF A FEARLESS AND INDEPENDENT PEOPLE TO REPRESENT THEM IN THE FIRST REFORMED PARLIAMENT DEC 12 1832'.
