M.P.' around with 'BORN MAY 23 1775' below. Reverse: mercury holding the Union flag with inscription below that reads 'THE ENLIGHTENED ADVOCATE OF PARLIAMENTARY REFORM, THE ARDENT FRIEND OF COMMERCIAL, CIVIL & RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, THE CHOICE OF A FEARLESS AND INDEPENDENT PEOPLE TO REPRESENT THEM IN THE FIRST REFORMED PARLIAMENT DEC 12 1832'.
