an eye-witness manuscript plan drawing of the Battle of the Nile depicting the height of the action in Aboukir Bay on 1 August 1798 with the coastline and the lines of battle identified by letter, the drawing further annotated with landmarks and some ship names, such as Vanguard 74 flagship and Culloden, grounded on a shoal, inset with a view of a castle, framed and glazed -- 12½ x 16½in.
