1891-1901 Covers and cards bearing German stamps comprising 1891 (Dec 31) 10pf postcard with a fine Bagamoyo c.d.s; 1893 (July 3) cover with 25pf tied by Tanga c.d.s (edge faults); 1892 5pf postcard franked 5pf to Germany both cancelled by Kilwa datestamps; 1901 (Mar 22) coloured Gruss Aus postcard from Mukesa to Germany franked 5pf; 1901 (June 20) cover from Muanza to Germany franked 5pf pair; and 1901 (Oct 10) 10pf lettercard cancelled at Moschi with date altered in manuscript to 28.9.01. G.E.A stamps were issued in July 1893 but German stamps remained valid until the end of September 1901. A useful group. (6).
