A PAIR OF CHARLES II BEECHWOOD STOOLS, 17TH CENTURY AND LATER, having square drop-in upholstered seats, on inverted baluster turned legs joined by carved and pierced, arched and scroll stretchers, 46cm square x 36cm high
The seat rails are much later.
There are old repairs including metal strapping to the stretchers, losses from worm (old worm).
Corners to frame on one have been glued (is firm) and the other is quite wobbly.
