A late 17th/early 18th century Armada chest, of cast iron strapwork construction, the lid with 7-point locking mechanism, with hasp and staple latches & carrying handles to either side. H43cm x W88cm x D46cm.
Condition report: Deep patina consistent with age. Fretwork panel is missing to lock mechanism.
