An early 19th Century Scottish 1828 pattern basket hilted broadsword. Dome shaped pommel with ball finial, rayskin grip with wire banding, leather liner and heart shaped piercing to the guard. Blade etchings faded but ricasso bearing the inscription ' warranted '. Measures approx 98cm.
