Feb. 1838 EL (fragile) from Bremen to London having v. fine double ring Bremen mark with 'flag' motif in centre; 1863 stampless Regd. env. from Berlin to Sheffield with fine red "PRUSSIA/[crown]/REGISTERED" mark; Heligoland 10f printed postcard (the word "Heligoland" depicted as rock formations) to Altona with double arc Heligoland cancel dated 11 Mar. 1885; plus an unused red 10pf postal stationery env.; group of four covers with North German Confederation frankings, two early Hanover items (cover & front), etc.; also early Austria group which includes undated env. to Prague with 1860 5k red cancelled by ?Plass c.d.s., undated front from Vienna to Udine bearing 1860 15k blue, 3 different types of 2k yellow Postal Stationery cards used c.1870s and 1880 Polish newspaper "SAN" bearing 1k blue newspaper stamp of 1877.
