WW1 Imperial German Nahrkampfmesser Trench Knife with 143mm long blade maker marked "ERN Wald Rhein" along with "Raisermesser Fabrik". Felt washer in place. Wooden grips. Overall length 278mm. Complete with scabbard with leather belt loop. Retaining loop missing.
