The Jaguar XKR 100 Coupe is a limited edition, high-performance edition of the renowned Jaguar XKR. Only 500 (coupe and convertible) were produced, marking the 100th birthday of Jaguar's founder Sir William Lyons.
From the official Jaguar announcement of the XJR 100 (saloon) and XKR 100 (coupe/convertible):
Key features of the new XJR 100 and XKR 100 include:
‘Anthracite’ exterior paintwork plus new, R Performance nine-spoke BBS alloy wheels and cross-drilled Brembo brakes
Leather-trimmed interiors in ‘Warm Charcoal’ with the latest designs of R Performance steering wheel and Momo gear knob, plus new R Performance leather Recaro seats for the XKR 100
Aluminium trim highlights for the XKR 100 interior, including door handles, sports-style pedals, gear shift surround and instrument surrounds
Supercharged 370 bhp 4.0-litre AJ-V8 engines, with five-speed automatic transmissions
Jaguar’s dynamic Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS), plus a special R Performance Handling Pack for the XKR 100 coupe
Luxury specifications include DVD navigation system, premium sound audio system, reverse park control and rain-sensing wipers
This car has just over 86,000 miles and a full Jaguar service history (main dealers and independent specialists). Being a 2002 car, it has the final version of the 4.0 litre engine which has upgraded metal chain tensioners and fuel pump, solving the common engine failures due to the weakness of plastic and semi-plastic tensioners.
This car is in great condition for its age and mileage, there are a few minor stone chips and surface scratches, but nothing to spoil its beautiful appearance or superb performance. It drives beautifully and has been maintained regardless of expense.
It benefits from recently refurbished Montreal BBS split rim alloys (refurbished at a cost of £1,000), a stainless steel straight-through sports exhaust system and subtle refreshes to its appearance, clear reflectors and indicator lenses, and black centre caps on the wheels (see pictures) which give it a crisp black & silver appearance.
