A nameplate, CITY OF LIVERPOOL, from a Great Central Railway Class 1 No 428 built at Gorton in December 1913, becoming LNER B2 Class No 5428 and re-classified as B19 Class in 1945. Renumbered 1493 in 1946, it was withdrawn from Immingham in April 1947 and subsequently scrapped. Cast brass, 49½"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: N/A)
