£1,600
A pair of Napoleon III brass mounted and ebonised red-stained horn veneered Boulle display tables, c1870, with hinged top, the stepped superstructure centred by a door, on fluted tapering legs, 161cm h; 58 x 107cm
Several later applied brackets to lend stability, one or two of the legs somewhat loose and a little unstable, generally rather dirty, in unrestored country house condition, localised losses to gilding and horn slightly chipped in places, but essentially complete and requiring minor structural repair and some cosmetic restoration
