WWII British Defence Medal with a Silver Royal Navy Patrol Pin. The pin was normally given to British sailors working mine patrols, In 1940 during Operation Dynamo (Dunkirk Evacuation) The Navy was to commandeer as many small boats possible and with a Naval crew sail to Dunkirk. However, the skippers of these small craft were not having none of it, and sailed the boats themselves to Dunkirk. They were awarded with a Defence medal with a Naval Patrol Service Pin. UK P&P Group 1 (£16+VAT for the first lot and £2+VAT for subsequent lots)
