Engraved inside 'E.Milch' State Secretary to Goering, 'E.Udet' WW1 Air Ace with 62 Victories, 'C.Schumacher' Me Test Pilot, 'W.Rethel' Chief Aircraft Designer WW1, 'F.Morzik' Knights Cross winner, 'H.Seidemann' Won Speed Record at Zurich, 'C.Francke' speed record Zurich, 'H.Hohagen' Aerobatic champion, 'H.Trautloft' Battle of Britain Pilot & Knights Cross winner, 'H.Wurster' held World land plane record, 'W.Pohle' Team Pilot. Apparently these cases were issued to members of the Messerschmitt BF 109 Fighter Team for their outstanding performance at the 4th International Flying Meeting at Zurich, Switzerland, 1937. Lot comes with a 1974 letter from Stanley Gibbons Currency Limited to Mr R J Bender. Superb quality piece (approx 220g)
