A Chinese school painting Qing dynasty (19th century or earlier) of adoration/reverence of Laozi (Lao Zhu), was an ancient Chinese philosopher and writer, according to traditional accounts, Laozi was a scholar who worked for the royal court of Zhou, many clans of the Li family trace their descendants to Laozi, he was also the founder of Taoism, ink on paper, circa 19th century or earlier, framed, 140cm x 60cm, provenance: previously in a collection in the North of France
