African tribal artwork: two sensitively carved wooden busts, both depicting and carved by the indigenous people of the Mwino Valley, Kenya, 20cm high (2) Provenance: a collection of items gifted to the Revered Canon Philip Price (British, 1925-2010) from the Pokot and Tamkal tribal communicates as a mark of respect and thanks for his ministry and good works. See a copy of the document signed and sealed by Leonard Mombassa, née Beecher, Archbishop of the Province of East Africa, from 1960 to 1970, recording the gift of the items to Price. Note: Proceeds from the sale will go directly to the people of the Mwino Valley, contributing to relief efforts in response to recent devastating floods.
