A late 18th century uncompleted needlework; a young boy seated with a bird perched on his left hand and with attendant hound. Annotated verso 'No.46 Miss M Sivesey, July 14th 1792'. (Glazed oval gilt 18cm x 14.75cm)
Gilt frame is somewhat dull and tarnished (original fame). Looks like original paper backing, condition of needlework appears generally very good with no problems noted. The needlework lifts slightly horizontally around the head area.
