A GEORGE IV SILVER TABLE SNUFF BOX
by Joseph Bettridge, Birmingham 1829, rectangular, the hinged cover centred by an engraved crest and with an applied foliate thumbpiece, engine-turned to all sides. 9cm long, 4.5 troy ounces
The marks are clear. The hinge is in good order, and the lid closes well. There is a dent in one of the bottom back corners. The gilded interior is ok. There is some age-related surface wear, but generally in good condition.
