Sterling silver christening tankard, probably American circa 1920, straight sided form with a band of foaming waves around the base, gilt interior, marked 'Sterling', height 8.5cm, weight approx. 108g
Some light dents to the sides as well as minor surface scratches consistent with age and use. Much of the original gilt interior remains. There is a pin prick nick to the upper edge and the mug is slightly out of circular.
