A smokebox numberplate, 2239, from a GWR 2251 Class 0-6-0 built at Swindon in November 1944. Allocated to Ebbw Junction by 1948, it moved to Oswestry in 1956, finishing its days at Aberystwyth in May 1962 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport. Repainted. (Postage Band: D)
