A fine live steam 3/4" scale 'Minnie' Traction Engine. Built by an engineer Mr. Robert Foster. The model was awarded a 'Certificate of Merit' (Commended) at the Alexandra Palace 61st Model Engineer Modelling Exhibition, we think for 1992 as its undated. The engine itself measures 46cm in length, height to the top of chimney is 32cm, width across the rear wheels is 21cm. Its finished in red lined dark green with 3 brass bands, red wheels, copper capped chimney, fully functioning with all parts intact. Registration number RF 8488, front and rear. VGC. Some cleaning required. Together with a manual of instructions for the 'Minnie' and its Certificate of Merit.
Sold as a collectors item only, not to be run until professionally tested and certified. A fine item. £1000-1500
