A Victorian silver mounted, gem-set communion wine jug; the plain bulbous glass body overlaid with applied strapwork, set to the girdle with cabochon amethysts and chalcedony; double loop handle and circular stepped foot. The domed, hinged cover lacking finial. Hallmarks throughout. London 1871 by 24cm high.
