SCOTTISH STEAMERS: Group of early 20thC. advertising covers, PPCs and ephemera inc: Caledonian Steamer advertising card for the "Caledonian Routes to the Coast" with Gullane and Polmont single-ring cds's 1904; David MacBrayne PPC apparently written on the "Iona" with 1907 pmk Greenock 3; "The Royal Route" unused postal stationery - an env. and illustrated telegraphic form (some foxing); pmks "GK & ARDRISHAIG PACKET/ A /COLUMBA/AU 26/(YEAR MISSING?)", "GK & ARDRISHAIG PACKET/ B /GRENADIER/AP 5/07", "GREENOCK & ARDRISHAIG PKT/ A /IONA/JY 25/05", "GK & ARDRISHAIG PACKET/ B /IONA/JU 7/09" or ornate oval R.M.S. "LORD OF THE ISLES" cachet in black with Greenock 1908 cds's, all on PPCs (related but not of the relevant ships - one is a David MacBrayne Royal Route advertising card for the Columba) with other unused PPCs of the ships.
