A QUEEN ANNE OAK JOINED STOOL
circa 1710, the oval top with an "S"-scroll hand slot over a plain frieze, the underframe with plain turned and squared legs joined by conforming stretchers and ending in turned feet, 49cm wide x 33cm deep x 61.5cm high
Provenance: According to family records, the underside of the stool originally had a label inscribed "Sandford Orcas Trust"indicating it was probably acquired by Hubert Hutchings in the late 19th century.
