A signal box nameboard, HASSOP, from the Derby to Manchester route, the station situated in the heart of the Peak District. Closure to passengers came in 1942, the route closing completely in 1968. Cast letters on wood, length 41", some edge rotting has occurred, an additional backboard has been fitted. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
