A French Napoleonic Period XIII Curassier's Heavy Cavalry Broadsword, with 960mm single-edged steel blade with double-fuller, the flat back engraved 'Klingenthal September 1813, ricasso with laurelled "B" mark for Jean-George Bick and the proofer's marking "L" for Francois Louis Lobstein, rope-wire-bound leather grip and brass three-scrolled-bar knuckle bow stamped with laurelled "B" and numbered '"500," the steel scabbard with drag and two banded looses suspension rings, stamped with matching "500" numbers.
