A Framed & Glazed Watercolour entitled 'French Fisher Girl' by acclaimed Victorian artist John Absolon RA with accompanying letter, the envelope marked '(Bure Farm) Letter to Jane Elliott from John Absolon RA 1885 when giving her this water colour'. The letter is dated October 1885 and reads 'Dear Mrs Eliot, will you do me the favour of accepting the accompanying little specimen of my work to recall, I hope not disagreeably, the drive you took the old man to Christchurch through the dark night, dreary enough it would have been but for your kind guiding handon Peter.
