1914-15 Star trio to 13925 Pte F.W. Burton North's R. very fine, gum residue to reverses, lightly scratched off from the star. Francis William Burton was killed in action with 2nd Bn during the Battle of Aubers Ridge on 9th May 1915 and is buried in Merville Communal Cemetery. With 3 copied pages of service record, CWGC and Soldiers died, he was born in Long Eaton, enlisted 3/9/14, landed France 1/4/15. (R)
