Attributed to Thomas Webb & Sons, a Victorian silver mounted Stourbridge cameo glass scent bottle, of teardrop form, the turquoise glass body overlaid in opaque white and finely carved with floral specimens, the cap engraved 'Kate' and hallmarked Birmingham 1885, 11cm long
The cap shows several small dents, surface scratching and tarnishing. The hallmarks are too rubbed to identify the maker. The cork is present in the cap. The bottle shows fine surface wear throughout and the odd small pinhole. No obvious evidence of internal cracks to the glass.
