A stunning quality 8-day longcase clock, by Owen Davies, Llanidloes, c.1835-1856. A beautifully painted dial example, with moon features & asymmetrical floral illustrations. Cross-banded flame mahogany case, swan necked pediment & fluted pillars. Complete with redacted copy of purchase receipt from July 1999 (£5000). Vendor advises serviced and in good working order. Overall in excellent condition. A little loose veneer at base level, as pictured & feet bracket becoming detached.
