A monumental pearlware display jug. Circa 1820, probably Davenport, transfer printed and overpainted with birds, peonies, and other flowers, height 44cm. There is a glued break on the spout, with related small filled loss. There is a firing crack on the underside of the handle, with some related crazing, and a similar line on the handle front and top, please see the additional images. There is some discolouration on the underside, general crazing, particularly on the internal base, and some rubbing around the rim.
