1438-1443 King Henry VI First Reign Trefoil issue Calais Halfgroat, graded XF 40 by NGC (S 1911B). Obverse: crowned facing bust with trefoil of pellets on either side of neck, surrounded by a double tressure of arcs within a beaded circle. Reverse: long cross dividing beaded circles, three pellets in each of the four central angles, 'VIL o LA xx CALI SIE o' in middle with 'POSVI DEVM x A DIVTOR E x MEVM' around the edge.
