Four antique original etchings of the "Cries of London" series after paintings by Francis Wheatley including "Round and Sound, Five Pence a Pound, Duke Cherries", and "Turnips and Carrots" , dating to 1795 and in original antique frames.
Only 13 of the 14 paintings of “The Cries of London” by Wheatley were engraved. They were issued as individual plates from 1793 to 1797, offered afterwards as a folio of thirteen engravings. The plates were engraved by Luigi Schiavonetti, Anthony Cardon and Giovanni Vendramini.
