This pale green acoustic tile was on the walls of the Memphis Recording Service which opened in 1950 and became the world known Sun Record Company, Inc. in 1952. This is where Elvis recorded from the start of his career rehearsals and recordings which included 1953 when Elvis recorded My Happiness/That's When Your Heartaches Begin and in 1954: That's Alright/Blue Moon Of Kentucky. You can view many images of these tiles visible on the walls in the background, including the 1954 of Elvis, Scotty Moore, Bill Black & Sam Phillips, November 21st 1955 Elvis, Colonel, Gladys, Vernon, H. Coleman Tily III, Bob Neal, Sam Phillips, & Jim Crudgington. One of the most noted photos is of an unexpected recording session in the Sun Records Studio that brought together rock-n-roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis & Carl Perkins on December 4, 1956. This impromptu jam session is where they became known as the Million Dollar Quartet. The tile measures approximately 12ins x 12ins and is 4 of 4.
