A LOVELY ‘COIFFEUSE’ STYLE DRESSING TABLE, the serpentine shaped table consists of various cabinets & drawers, to the centre of the table top is a lift up mirror which can slide forwards and backwards, on each side of the mirror the table opens to the right and left revealing further cabinets, to the body is a leather topped brush slide, and a long drawer with a further small drawer to the right. Each of the drawers/cabinets is lined with a floral covered board – these can be removed. All raised on slender cabriole shaped legs with pointed toe. A lovely piece of furniture, this style of dressing table was popular in France from the 18th century. Dimensions: 75 x 41 x 70.5cm (W x D x H – closed) The width extends to 115cm when the cabinets are opened. Height to the end of the skirt: 53.5cm.
