A large and impressive 19th century housekeeper's black forest cast iron coat & stick / hall stand. Of heavy cast and wrought iron, the large stand (in two parts) being set over an ovoid shaped base with inset galvanised metal tray rising up to a heavy set twist column rising through to ovoid shaped top rail adorned with original hooks all around. Wall mounted to one end. The hallstand in two parts. Attached in images to non associated pole for reference and image purposes. Measures approx. 210cm x 114cm.
