George Barnard (British 1807-1890), A view of the Matterhorn, signed and dated '1873 Geo. Barnard', watercolour, ink, and bodycolour on paper, image 63 x47 cm, framed and glazed 77 x 60.5 cm Barnard was the drawing master at Rugby School and also one of the earliest members of the Alpine Club.
