A George III silver mustard pot and cover, maker Thomas Daniell, London, 1784, monogrammed, of cylindrical outline, the hinged lid with shaped thumb-piece, the sides with pierced banded and foliate decoration with cranberry glass liner and plated mustard spoon, 108gms, 3.47ozs
Overall condition is fair to good. All marks are clear and legible. There are no creases or dents. There are no signs of any repairs or restoration. There are no signs of any erasure or thinning. The hinge pin has some wear so the lid wobbles slightly. The lid sits flat to the body , the liner appears original with lip to allow for the spoon. There are no signs of any repairs or restoration. The spoon is plated and not matching.
